Protection without thickness.
My walk around setup Fujifilm x-e3 with fuji 15-45mm didn't want to go into small Think Tank Mover-5 bag with regular filter. But it was perfect fit without one. This magic filter solved the problem. It sits almost flat with lens front rim. Optically it as good as my B+W filters. It is well Multi-coated, thread is perfect. And unexpected bonus - with this filter I can carry X-e3 with my beloved Fujifilm 35mm F1.4 in the same tiny bag on my belt. I'm really tired of carrying heavy stuff hanging over my shoulder.. this time it's enough. Unfortunately Cokin discontinued these wonderful filters long ago. So get it while you can. Your last chance.

Fantastic! Super thin
Fantastic. Exactly what I was looking for. I have a gopro case that uses a filters. However, when in the super view (ultra wide angle), there is a little bit of vignetting when standard filter is used. I bought this filter and no more vignetting. Its so thin, you barely notice its there. My only gripe is that this filter is fairly expensive for a basic UV filter. however, I am happy there is no more vignetting which is priceless.

perfect for the Fuji 27mm XF lens
The size and the very thin low profile makes a perfect UV protector for the pancake XF 27mm without risk of vignetting. Optics excellent. Multi-coated. Don't put a cheap UV on a good lens.. it's like placing cheap tires on a Porsche.

VERY CLEAR
This filter is really astonishing very clear. And very thin also. I put it on my panasonic camcorder x920 and noticed no difference. But, so thin, It seems I did not fixed well and, as my hand is big, I am having difficulty to take it out and screw again. It is there, no problems. Seems to do the job.

Almost not there, uncertain durability
This ultra-thin ultraviolet/haze filter is so thin, it's almost as if it wasn't there. The Canon lens cap for the 24-105mm lens grips somewhat securely, although the filter appears to be only half-way seated, as the external threads only stick out a couple of millimeters. The filter does seem to vibrate loose with transport, but this is often the case with filters of different brands. I did not find any discernible difference with the filter on versus off (pretty much the goal here, just to protect the lens, and to not degrade the image quality). If you're looking for an ultra-thin UV filter, I would personally look for one with a little more metal and glass for added durability. I'm not sure how long this will last, unless you treat it with kid gloves.

Avoid - falls apart
I've ordered two of these types of filters to weather seal a couple of my camera lenses while having as little bulk as possible (one for my Canon 24-70L, and the other for my 50L). For awhile my biggest gripe was that they are so thin, there's almost nothing for the lens caps to grab onto, so my lens caps were constantly falling off. However, the filter on my 50L completely fell apart just as I was starting to shoot a wedding last weekend. I heard a weird rattling sound and started to panic, wondering if I had somehow dropped the lens and knocked an element loose, but then (to my relief, and then annoyance) I realized it was the filter - the glass became separated and the whole assembly broke up.These filters aren't cheap, and I'm extremely disappointed that I wasted almost $100 on one that only lasted a couple months.
