Short lifespan
Works well when it does work...Moderately effective as a filtered amplifier but sadly died after 4 months, after which, of course, it is well outside the return window and only so much scrap!

Stopped working!
Did a great job of amplifying the noise floor (and possibly NOAA signal) for a couple of weeks, now nothing! I quite liked the indicator light which confirmed the dc supply and the clear indication of which direction to insert the module in the RF line (something completely missing from the SAWBIRD for IMARSAT). However, the light is still on (i.e. module receiving dc )and there is no signal amplification whatsoever! Poor show from NooElec.
