Bought this item to help me move heavy furniture at home by myself. I have a heavy bedframe etc and with the tick carpet I was struggling to move it in order to clean behind it. Using this item (one strip on each of the pressure points) I can now move the furtniture by myself without any difficulty whatsoever.

I had looked at quite a few of these sliders, all promising various things, but went for these purely off the review of a professional carpet fitter who said he uses these to move furniture around when fitting carpets. We’re having a new carpet fitted soon and have recently bought some very heavy leather 2 seater recliners which we found (with two people pushing/pulling) very difficult to move into position on the old carpet. I was a bit sceptical that when the sliders were under the couches, and when you pushed, that the couch would just slip off the sliders and you’d have to keep repositioning the sliders underneath. However last night I put the sliders on the four edges of the couch and pushed (on my own) and although heavy, they did glide across the carpet. Tried them under a very heavy and large potted rubber plant and again the plant glided across the carpet under the sliders. Very happy indeed don’t know why I’ve never thought to buy these before. Obviously these have been used on an old, flattened carpet which work very well. The new carpet is a deep pile so I’m hoping that they work just as well on that too.

They were ok on some of the lighter furniture but they found the heavy oak bed and chest of drawers a little too much for them, but overall satisfied with them.

I am extremely impressed with these floor gliders. I had real problems moving a 55 inch TV on a large stand that had no wheels so I took the plunge and went for these. They are just brilliant at moving heavy items across the carpet. They are light weight, very easy to position and work perfectly. Once positioned under all four edges of the unit I was able to glide the whole TV stand with TV anywhere in the room with ease. One of the most useful items I have ever bought.

Ok for chairs moved easy on carpet havn't tried on wardrobe yet don't know if they will be suitable for it as castors soon slip off the sliders .

Found these great, we can now move our very heavy sofa bed so easily across the carpet, and if we decide to move other items like a table or chair we can just pop one of the smaller ones under the legs it makes it so much easier.

We (two ordinary adults), moved a heavy upright piano using these carpet sliders. Very successful indeed, would recommend.

I am a professional Carpet Cleaner who spends a great deal of my time having to move heavy furniture(Armchairs/Sofas/Dining Tables etc.) My job is made so much easier by using these relatively inexpensive,lightweight and durable Furniture Sliders.They are simple to use and I use them at home to move my Washing Machine/Wardrobes/Beds etc. If you can place them underneath any item of furniture in the home you should be able to move it safely. The problem most people have moving any item of furniture is that it is either too heavy or you risk damaging your floor or carpet. If used correctly, this product is great for both hard floors & carpet.
