I ordered this for the young Japanese learner in my family and he absolutely loves it! I don't know any Japanese myself but he says that this is a very useful kanji learning and memorization tool since he hangs the poster in his room and can study the characters every day. It doubles as a great wall decal as well even for those who don't know any Japanese.

Like the other guy said, it is indeed not laminated. However the paper is sturdy with a silky finish. (I tried to capture it in the picture.) Otherwise the poster is exactly as pictured, and is very big and readable.

According to our "pint sized" authority ,it is perfect ...and if he is happy ..so am I !!!

This is very helpful to get started with Kanji. Supposed there are 50,000 but don't let that stop you. This chart has most common conversation Japanese. Start with memorizing these!

When I received this poster I loved it so much I decided to frame it. Since coming back from Japan I've been looking for something like this to hang in my house and remind me of the Land of the Rising Sun.I received it quickly and in perfect condition, nicely protected and beautiful quality.So glad I finally found what I was looking for! Will likely buy another one to gift it to my friends :)
