Our bedroom is small so we needed an extension cord to run from one outlet to the other side of the room. The distance is about 11 feet, so we ordered this 15 foot long power cord. It's 13amp and plugged into the outlet very snugly. The outlet is behind our kiddo's toy kitchen and the plug doesn't protrude overly far, so the kitchen can still fit against the wall. The cord itself isn't overly flexible or stiff, and it was super easy to run it along the wall to the top of our dresser where we needed it. It's functioning perfectly.I would recommend this to anyone looking for a high quality extension cord.

It's short. It's an extension cord. It's make with high quality. The price is right. I have 19" rack mounted equipment and a rack mount power distribution panel as well as UPS. Some of the power adapters take up more than their fair share of space (for which I fault the manufacturers). I added four of these short extension cords and freed up two blocked outlets on my panel. Star Tech has always been good quality stuff for me.

Just what I needed a short extension cord in 14 gage for a patio heater.

I purchased these extension cables to perform some wire management in my laboratory.The cables arrived quickly and packaged safely for transit.I ordered 6 of these cables to route power cables more neatly to a 8 switch power supply. Previously I had the existing power cables stretching across my lab just to ensure connection. With these extension cables I was able to route the power cables in a much cleaner method, hiding the cables where needed.I was worried that my LED bars in my laboratory would dim from extending them, this had happened with other extension cords. this was NOT the case with these cables. I am glad that these cables provide a stable and clean powering connection without causing any interference or lowering the power output.I believe the value for these cables is "ok".I would recommend these to others looking to perform wire management.
