I concur with other positive reviews. Its a nicely made figure. Its slight flexibility actually makes it more lifelike, as I have been able to touch a ray in an approved touch tray at an aquarium. I have several other ray figures and by more than one company and this one is very nice. I know some reviewers complain about price on animal figures from Safari, I believe unrealistically, but this one is even exceptionally well priced. The more figures Safari makes, especially of unusual but real life animals, the better! I wish this had been available when I was a child.

This is a pretty nice replica, kind of metallic color with vivid blue spots. A bit more flexible than other Safari Ltd figures I have collected, but still keeps it shape well. Also, was bigger than I had anticipated. Nice figure for collectors of sea life.

Pros:• Nice representation of a blue spotted stingray• Most realistic blue spotted stingray model on Amazon• DurableCons:• The paint on the one I got was matter than the one shown (less shine/detail)• Only had four gills on each side, which if being used for education purposes, would not be anatomically correct

My five-year-old son is really big into see creatures right now, so this made a very good addition to his bath time toys. It is very well-made. Pretty nice detail.I would recommend this to anybody that knows someone that likes sea creatures, or has a kid that still plays with toys in the tub.

Bigger than anticipated and nice quality. Our grandson loves it! Realistic and I like that the name of the animal is written on the underneath side.
