CURT 45009 3-in-1 ATV Trailer Hitch Mount, 2-Inch Ball, Clevis Pin, 5/8-Inch Hole, Fits 2-Inch Receiver

This is a good hitch. Versatile for towing different type hook ups. I do recommend getting an extension sleeve. Without the extension, it is relatively easy to turn short and damage your sxs.

I bought this hitch to use with my Cat-0 3-point hitch on my tractor. It has a 2" ball welded to it, a 5/8" hole for your garden tractor's pin hitch attachments, and a tow pin welded in under the ball to connect a strap or chain. It's beefy and has a nice painted finish (might be powder coated - hard to tell).I bought a Curt 1-7/8" ball with a 5/8" shank to go through the pin hitch hole from the bottom as I have several trailers with different size balls. Switching between the two simply requires pulling the hitch out and flipping it over.Awesome piece!

I needed a ball mount for the 3 point hitch receiver on my John Deere 1025r sub-compact tractor. The Curt model #45009 fit all my needs but it was hard to tell from the photos if it was going to be strong enough for my tractor. Rest assured this is a heavy duty mount. The business end is 1/4" thick steel and the insert end is 3/16" thick steel. The clevis pin under the ball is 5/16" diameter. The welds are perfect and the powder coat is flawless. My tractor might be able to bend the clevis pin but I doubt it. I would probably lose traction before that happened. I doubt if there is an atv or utv out there that could bend this mount. It's an excellent piece of equipment to put on your machine.

so many options on 1 little ball mount. I have them on my utv's and seem to be using them to pull people out more than I should be. lol Just bought a wood splitter and can now haul it out to the woods on my can am, leaving the mess in the woods where it belongs. also makes a great place to tie my utv down to a trailer for towing. I can honestly say, Ive used all 3 of the 3 in one mount. I have a little trailer I use on my can am to get camp wood wich has a pintle hook. my wood splitter takes a 2 " ball, and have towed 3 people out of the woods with the tow bar.

Great hitch, but be mindful of the distance on your SXS. This is almost too short for my Pioneer. There is not much room when hooking up the trailer, (it doesn't stick out far enough).

Purchased this Curt 3-in-1 UTV trailer hitch mount to tow a home-made log arch into my 80 acre former woodlot. Seems rugged and sturdy, will enable me to use a strap for pulling a log out of the bush to a trail, where I can then bundle it up under the log arch and using the ball mount, haul logs to my Timbery (220v 5hp) bandsaw mill.Pulled the trigger on this unit because of reviews and reputation of Curt tow-products.

I bought one of these for my SXS and it worked great. I like the fact it has 3 ways to connect - 2" ball, pin, and tie/hook. It worked well enough that I bought another one for my ATV.

Have used with 1/4" chain to pull small/medium felled tree trunks and brush out of woods. Sure beats bucking trunks and rolling them out by hand!Have also used to pull 1,000 lb utility trailer, no issues.
