This stuff is a little pricey but it is a top notch product- it repairs KERDI board with a quick drying, very strong bond. A joy to use and essential!

Very Pricey. This is more of a really sticky adhesive than a caulk but is the only caulk recommended by Schluter (naturally). Don't get it on your hands as it is difficult to remove. Either wear vinyl gloves or use a chemical remover, such as brake cleaner, to remove from your hands. Between uses, simply squeeze a glob out the end of the tube and let it dry. When you need more, simply pull out the glob and plug and squeeze out fresh caulk. Don't even bother trying to stop up the tube with a nail, screw or a wire nut. The glob works best.

Great hold and waterproofing but next to impossible to get off your hands. Wear gloves!!

This product is AWESOME! I had ordered several tubes of another product to install Palisades Bathroom Tile for my bathroom renovation. The loctite stuff that was recommended was so hard to press out of the tube. I called the manufacturer for the waterproof membrane that was recommended to put down before you install the vinyl tiles—as I could find no info on how to seal between the Kerdi membrane and the tub. The customer service person recommended Kerdi Fix! This stuff pressed out of the tube "like butter" ... I purchase the first batch from Home Depot as the delivery date was too far ahead, but later ordered some here. It is worth the extra $$. My day job involves using a computer, and so my hands are my livelihood, and that locktite stuff would have killed my hands ... worth the money and my hands ...

Have a vinyl window in my shower, so used this to create a waterproof edge. Went on as easy as caulk and held the kerdi membrane very well.

Good but expensive. Seals well, but harder to smoothly apply than others.

When I bought this stuff I couldn't help but think I was probably getting fleeced with some over priced name brand caulk that I should have bought at HD for a fourth of the price. Boy, was I ever wrong. I put a little too much along a part of the tub line and then figured I'd just trim it back with a razor blade. That was no easy task, this stuff is tough when dried, it does not cut easily even with a fresh blade. I also used it to glue down a threshold piece and I am now quite certain that piece will be in place forever. Otherwise it is easy to use, just like regular bathroom caulking, but way, way tougher when cured. It's in a whole different class.
