I am French and live in Perigord, the tradionalarea for ducks and geese.I ordered your product for my son who lives in Maryland.my daughter in law is American, but she's fond of foie gras. sp both of them were satisfied.I suppose you are from Quebec? Foie gras is very expansive in France at the moment, too many birds were destroyed, as a prevention against Avian flu...Happy new year for every one!

Very nice flavor and smooth consistency.
I used half the tin for a Beef Wellington and the remainder with cheese and toasted bagels. The Foie Gras has a very nice mellow flavor and a smooth consistency. I will buy again.

Definitely a mousse, not a straight paté, but still good
I wasn't sure what they meant by a mousse foie gras, but I do now. It worked for my Beef Wellington, but wasn't quite what I expected.

Disappointing
I love mousses and pates very much. Purchased this due to good reviews from people making wellingtons, thought it would be delicious with crusty bread and cheese.I was so disappointed. The pate had no flavor whatsoever. I tried to tart it up with various spices, but no luck.Would not buy again
