This is a useless item. What they don’t tell you is you must remove the screen to replace this part. It’s impossible to remove this screen without destroying the digitizer. So you must also purchase a new screen which is unbelievably expensive. So if you want to destroy your cellphone buy this useless item. There are 2 led sensors that must pass thru to the front of the phone for the lower buttons. Why Samsung chose to build its garbage phones like this is and engineering wonder. There is no way to lift the screen to install this. So yes after I replaced this nightmare with this part I did have a working USB port again but too bad I now have a black screen making all my data impossible to view. I had to now order a new screen for $80 with tax just to get my data off this phone. Save yourself the trouble and buy and iPhone next time instead of dumping useless money like this into a junk phone.
