Does what it says it will do
Yes, I would buy this again. The locks do not come with instructions but I got it figured out pretty quickly. They really are secure. I wore my phone as a wristlet on a train trip where we rode outside and wanted to hang our phones over the edge for photos. People were pointing at my wristlet and wished they had one, too. I could still put it in my pocket or cross body bag. It fits on your wrist snugly, but not tight (no marks) and relieves the fear of dropping your phone.

best phone leash
using the locking S-biner on these is the key. so much more reliable than the others i've tried. it's saved my phone from being left in the woods a number of times when i was out on a search or hiking with my dogs. and at just over 5 feet, as long as i have it connected to a chest zipper/d-ring, it doesn't even hit the ground when it drops.

VERY secure tether.
The stretchy tether attaches to a large flat plastic card that fits inside the case. No adhesive, so it doesn't mark the phone. The loop to which you attach the tether feeds out through the opening for the charge cable doesn't block that. Once in, it's in - stretches some but won't come out (and I really tried). It can be looped to wear around the wrist or the spring carabiner can attach to a belt loop. The carabiners are very tight and even a little difficult to take on and off. I'm pretty sure your belt loop will rip off before this thing does. Nobody's sliding your phone out of your pocket with this on.

Useful for travels
Use this for my trip to Europe. Since Europe is well known with pickpockets, it would ruin a trip should you lose your phone when we depend heavily on useful apps.Use this attached and locked to my bag as well as using it as a strap by attaching the carabiner to the other.Stretched it all the way from my sling bag to take pictures or to look for directions.Did good and now kept in a drawer for future use. However there are two small downsides. Even though the anchor is thin, the bottom lip of my phone case would not conform or fit exactly. Understandable since I'm still adding even the slightest thickness in between my phone and case. When charging with a cable it is not as secure because of the anchor, and can easily lose charging connection especially on the go and moving around.Sure I could charge wirelessly, but it would charge slower.Otherwise, this is still a great option should I need a way to secure my phone.

Good for Travel
On a recent trip overseas, I had my phone in my hand most of the day, every day, in a city that has recently become notorious for phone snatchers. The design gives the flexibility to attach this to an item (bag, pants, etc) or loop around your wrist, but I ended up using it around my wrist most of the time. My wrist is around 7"/17.8cm circumference and looping the strap once around my wrist felt fairly secure, looping it twice felt a bit tight, but completely secure. As far as installation, I thought that this wouldn't work well since it doesn't stick onto the phone or case, but in reality, the card behind the phone inside the case is a perfect design, and there's pretty much no way it's coming loose unless the strap or attachment point breaks.

Nice but not for a shallow phone case
I've never used a phone tether so there's been a learning curve. I like being able to fasten the phone to my purse or use the tether as a bracelet. It feels very secure. I've used a particular brand of low profile phone case for many years and have only had a problem when my phone landed face down on a rock. That cracked the screen protector. After using this tether for 2 weeks, I have multiple screen protector cracks even though the phone has not been dropped or handled roughly. The tab for the tether lifts the phone in the case enough that the edges of the screen protector are exposed and much more prone to abrasions on the edges. I suspect it is also placing pressure on the back of the phone cause extra tension inside the case. I will have to stop using it.

Durable
Im impressed that this has survived two months already, the cheap ones would last a week with the twisting of the plastic, definitely worth getting a more pricy one than a worthless cheap one. It fits perfectly under my mothers phone case.I honestly got it for my mother because she has limited mobility and drops her phone a lot, or loses it, i was worried about her falling in the house while im away and not being able to contact anyone. I figured an elderly alert system was basically a phone on your neck so i put this on and attached a huge bright colored lanyard that would be hard for her to lose. Its nice because now im not getting asked twenty times a day to look for her phone.

Great for hiking
I use a phone tether while hiking, to keep my phone (a Google Pixel 6) protected yet close for navigation and photos. I originally started using the stretchy silicone 'x' type tethers, but they blocked the cameras on the Pixel, and barely stretched far enough. This tether is so much better! It is thin and fits easily between any case I use. The tether ribbon stays out of the way of the charging port and cable, and I no longer have anything blocking my camera. It's a lot easier to get the phone untethered (just pop it out of the case). I also appreciate how the carabiners are solidly built and have a locking feature, so I know the tether will no accidentally unlatch. The Bungie cord part is stretchy, so I can bring my phone from a pouch on my hip to arms length in front of me or held out for a picture without having to pull hard, and without excess cord getting in the way when my phone is put away. This tether really has it all.
