Mattel Songbird Barbie Doll w Real Singing Songbird Balances on Fingertip! (1995)

I picked out songbird barbie when I was five years old because she had pretty flowers all over her dress. She was my first barbie doll but unfortunately due to a certain younger sister decapitating her, she had a very short neck from then on.. sisters:P Anyway since I was five I loved her until she was fairly worn out, so for my birthday this year I decided to get her back into my Barbie collection, she arrived today. She is just as pretty now as she was then in her floral gown. And as a bonus she comes with a little blue bird that balances on her hand or your fingertip and if you press on the beak it tweets, I played with the bird a LOT when I was little. I'm so grateful to be able to enjoy her all over again.

Finally this product arrived, at first place wants to apologize me with this seller cause i left a really bad review before to have the doll on my hands 😬 again i’m sorry. I live in Ecuador and its a little bit complicate do all about the shipping it take a couple of months. But when i oppened her box found the bird all was new and never unboxed was in one word perfect thanks

She is so beautiful and much prettier in person! Lovely dress and pretty hair. This is the 3rd Barbie I have added to my adult collection, and I am so glad I got her! She is so sweet and innocent in appearance and that's what I love about the older Barbie dolls. I haven't tested the bird to see if it sings because I want to keep her in the box until we move, but it doesn't matter. She and the bird make a beautiful pair!

Carefully opened and found songbird on bottom of package. Luckily batteries are still operating. So bird is singing. If I were looking for this item, for this vintage barbie, from a collector's point of view, I would aay No. But my 7 year old will be so excited this year.

I didn't open it because it's a gift so i hope the bird is in there somewhere but she's beautiful!

So disappointed in this item. There is no songbird in the box. No necklace on doll. The box has a hand written price tag on It cheaper then what I paid. I would be embarrassed to give this to anyone. I reordered and it will not get here before Christmas.
