This book is absolutely amazing! It’s full of fun and practical “unplugged” activities that help kids learn coding concepts. An absolute must buy for anyone interested in preparing kids for the 21st century.

How to Be a Coder is an excellent introduction to the basics of programming and Scratch.

Here is another great coding book for kids that teaches computer programming offline and online. The online programming aspect of this book uses the child-friendly computer language Scratch. Each activity introduces a key programming concept that can be done completely offline, which is one thing that I really like about this book! For kids who want to apply these concepts in the real world, they can build programs in Scratch 3.0.My kids are learning more advanced coding languages and projects using the Beestar website. This book helped establish their interest in computer science. I also agree with another reviewer that the book is an excellent introduction to the basics of programming and Scratch.
