Each leg is about 30" long and they can extend an additional apx 12"-15" This stand is perfect for home use because it is space sufficient and the base is triangular , therefore it can be placed in a corner , which then the legs would go next of the sides of the walls and the bag is being " pushed out" towards you , and it is about 3ft away from the pole of the stand. This would provide a good amount of clearance for all kicks. If the stand is too tall for your ceiling , please let us know, and we can customize it according to you... The stand includes 4 sand bags. The sand bags are shipped unfilled and each can accommodate 60-70lbs of sand. Filling instructions for the sand bags are included The Punching Bag: Available in 80lbs, 100lbs and 6ft 130lbs. Great product, would have given 5 stars if there were more bags included.  In my experience, 4 bags has not been enough to keep the stand stable.
