So when it was time for me to reseed, I came across this. I used to use Scott's seeds, but Im not really sure if im getting quality vs getting a quality name brand. As in all of my reviews, I like to give pro's and con's. This one is going to be little bit tricky, cause I am simply reseeding. Positives 1. The shipping with prime came extremly fast and the price was pretty much the same as you can expect at a home depot or lowes. 2. Quality? Well im not a scientist nor a landscaper, but from what a novice person can tell this is pure seed. 3. Does this work? I have to say yes, but I am simply reseeding as I do every year. But can I honestly tell the difference between this stuff and other seed's ive bought in the past? No. Negatives. There really are no negatives. Its a great product from a great company. Pennington I believe is underrated compared to Scott's. But I also believe you can get something cheaper for simply reseeding.I have to say smart seed Has to be a gimmick. Really its seed, come on now. Whenever you reseed or see your lawn, you always ALWAYS have to water frequently and daily for at least 2 weeks. Now that i think of it, 4 stars will do. Can't give it 5 cause i cant tell the difference between that and the other stuff i have put down in the past. And cause of the smart seed gimmick, 4 is a great ratingThis is a great product.
