I have embarked on a variety of high rep kettlebell swing challenges, and quickly realized that even though my endurance is as good as ever, I lack the strength I had when I was younger (I'm 60). Seriously, just try completing 1,000 32 kg swings per workout, day after consecutive day, and you will quickly be convinced, by about day five, that strength matters, too. That's where this T-handle comes into play. You can easily make a hundred pound kettlebell and train heavy, albeit for lower reps, and build the strength required for high rep swings with moderate weights, like those mentioned previously.Is the product useful? Extremely; it helps strengthen the core and all muscles of the posterior chain. It's also much less expensive than a 48 kg kettlebell, for example! Is the product so good that it could not be improved upon? No! I have already traded in the ease of hand-adjustment for bolted collars and a small ratchet wrench, which puts my mind at ease when I'm loading the T-handle heavy. I would be willing to give the product my fullest recommendation if the manufacturer had done a better job thinking through the collars rather than leaving it to the consumer, but my niggling dissatisfaction on this one point is not enough to make me give the product less than five stars. A word of advice to those who love their kettlebells: you will find the comparatively thin handle of this device both welcome relief from the hand cramps caused by continuous gripping of a kettlebell's 1.5" diameter handle, but at the same time less useful for training your grip strength. Also, the T-handle is less useful for kettlebell snatches, clean and press, TGUs and the like; this is made for swings, first and foremost, so if you're looking for a one stop shop, this won't be it. So, buy this knowing it's an excellent addition to your kettlebell collection, but be warned that there is no replacement for a well-crafted kettlebell. All you need is a kettlebell, sandbag, dumbbell, tolerance for discomfort, and the grit to persist...indefinitely. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Okay to start *by G***N on June 26, 2019* It is good for simple things but the bar is a little too long to use for a lot of kettle bell complex exercise but worth the money if you're just a beginner ### ⭐ Too much for so little *by B***O on September 18, 2020* If you're looking for something compact and easy to use, this product is not for u. It is needlessly heavy and extremely bulky. Comes with 2 (too many) collars which are unstable and difficult to tighten for the average person. The "locking" pin does not lock- it slides out easily. So be careful of the plates falling on your feet. The "wide" handle is only wide enough if u have small hands.
