## Overview

The Muzzle Guard Dog Cone and Recovery Collar Alternative is a revolutionary device designed to prevent your pet from eating or chewing while still allowing them the freedom to drink and pant. Made in the USA, this innovative product easily installs within the Birdwell Enterprises muzzle, providing a secure fit with zip ties. Perfect for pet owners seeking a comfortable and effective alternative to traditional cones.

## Description

The Birdwell Enterprises muzzle guard is designed to be lightweight, comfortable, easy to clean, and highly durable. The muzzle guard is made of a super strong injection molded plastic with vent holes to not restrict panting or drinking. The vent holes allow your dog to drink and pant unrestricted while protecting from biting or chewing. The muzzle guard is dishwasher safe for easy cleaning and disinfecting. The muzzle guard fits ONLY Birdwell Enterprises muzzles.

Review: Fantastic for scavengers - Works great with the red Birdwell muzzle for my dog that loves to scavenge for things he shouldn't outside.
Review: Works great to stop poop eating - We have a Bronzedog large size wire muzzle for our 100lb GSD. This muzzle guard fits on the outside of the muzzle. (we added holes to the outer edges of the muzzle guard to more securely attach it). Our dog no longer is interested in sticking his nose into dog or horse poop, and no longer coming back into the house with poop pieces stuck to the metal part of the muzzle. The white color looks really goofy on a black dog, but we spray painted the muzzle with black plastic paint. Although the paint didn't stay on for long, the guard now has almost a camo look to it

## Features

- Will prevent any eating or chewing while still allowing freedom to drink or pant. Can be used as an alternative to or a break from cones and recovery collars.
- Easily installed and removed on the Birdwell Enterprises muzzle. The muzzle guard fits inside the Large muzzle, and outside the Medium muzzle and held in place by zip ties

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Alternate to the Cone
*by R***S on August 29, 2024*

The shield fits well on the outside of the Medium muzzle. However, there are not enough air holes for my Australian Shepherd. So, I drilled more holes(see photo) You have to make holes for the zip ties to secure the shield to the muzzle. I am very happy with these products,IE fits well, tolerable and prevents my dog from licking his tail until raw.
