Review: Beautifully illustrated! Fun story for Maui fans - My boys (ages 4 and 9) are crazy about the Moana movie and they especially love Maui. It can be very difficult to find Maui related items with so much of the merchandise geared toward girls. When I saw this book I knew it was a must have! The looks on their faces when I pulled it out as a surprise at bedtime were worth every penny spent and more. They really enjoyed the story (which is told from Maui's perspective) and have asked to read it multiple times. If you have a Moana or Maui fan then this is a great book to add to your library!

My boys (ages 4 and 9) are crazy about the Moana movie and they especially love Maui. It can be very difficult to find Maui related items with so much of the merchandise geared toward girls. When I saw this book I knew it was a must have! The looks on their faces when I pulled it out as a surprise at bedtime were worth every penny spent and more. This is a really funny, charming, very Maui-esque story with such a sweet ending. The illustrations are beautiful and the tone really matches the Maui character from the movie.
