Doesn't perfectly pick up the longer cat hair 100% at first brush but swipe it at different directions a few times and it will. Wasn't sure at first if it was worth the purchase but if you are trying to save money & have multiple pets that constantly shed (ie. cat,dog, wolf etc - i have 3 short-haired cats & a Morkie who doesn't really shed) then this is worth trying. Works well on couch, bed, upholstered chair, but not on hard surfaces (sticky lint removers work better on surfaces like table, floors, glass). Works okay on clothes while wearing it but I prefer the sticky lint removers as you do have to push this a few times with pressure to work. The best part is that no refills needed so you save money! **Q: Does it pick up human hair just as well? I know animal hair is mostly finer and shorter**
A: Yes, it picks up my longer hair as well as crumbs and things

**Q: Does this chom chom edition also work on cat hair?**
A: I actually bought this because i have cats. It works with any hair. But i also found out that there is a chom chom roller limited edition cat. The only difference i believe is the drawing on the roller :)

**Q: Will this work on hair embedded in carpet?**
A: Yes I have used it on carpet . I bought a second one just for carpets I vacuum them first then go over with the chom chom or if you want to surface clean you can also. I clean my mine in soapy water and let dry throughly. But I never use the carpet ones on furniture and upholstery I have separate ones for each job.

**Q: What’s the difference between this limited edition and the regular one? Just the drawing?**
A: The special edition has the dog or cat on the case. The regular is plain.

I love this thing. It really does pick all the hair and lint off of our cloth couch. Def worth the buy since it is reusable! No favric damage from use, it has lasted a year so long and still works perfectly. The compartment opens for you to clean it. It works on all fabrics from thicker cloth to thinner sheets. There are no accessories that came extra with it, but like i said, it cleans itself and is reusable.
