I’ve been baking bread for 20+ years and just never got around on bread slicing tools like fiddle knives or these slicing contraptions because I do not have the space. Wow, what is wrong with me! I should have bought one of these years ago. It gets slices just perfect and stiws easily for storage.1: It does what is supposed to: slices uniform pieces of bread so long as your knife is serrated and also long enough to span the width of the unit.2: It cleans easily and as a bonus it stows neatly all flat in one piece and can be stored in a wide drawer out of the way.
