The volume and bounce holds well for 2 to 3 days. I find using a leave in conditioner spray helpful along with this. My hair feels soft and not greasy and I am very pleased with this product. It is a bit pricey however, it works, so it is worth it. If you are looking for that 80's hairspray volume, this won't do that, but I get the same volume I'd get at the salon.
