    I didn't see any savings, quite the opposite

Since I installed the device, I immediately saw that with the device turned on the amperage increased and with the device turned off, the amperage went down .... that is the opposite. It is possible that it works in a house of very high energy consumption, but in my case, the electricity bill went up after having the device for 1 full month on every day. Now I have it installed but turned off ... totally disappointed.

ALL of these devices are worthless. They contain a capacitor, which can improve the power factor of your usage, if your usage has inductive loads such as motors.  BUT: electric meters DO NOT REGISTER REACTIVE POWER!.  Power companies install phase correction capacitors on power poles, particularly in rural areas with heavy motor loads, to reduce the total current in their lines. and your power company would be happy if you used less reactive power.  But they will not pay you to do so.I recommend that Amazon discontinue selling any devices of this sort.

A friend gave me one of these after he tried and found no improvement. As a retired director of engineering I knew what the results would be so tossed into trash. Mr. Sander's review is absolutely correct. Anyone who thinks spending a few dollars will make big electricity savings is simply kidding themselves. There are many other well established ways to cut electricity usage.
