Skye is super active and a regular collar could not hold her as she would back right out of it. The regular harnesses you see at the pet stores were a little too tiny for this She Devil. This one though is quite sturdy and adjusts pretty easy so that she has not, as of yet, been able to slip it off on her own and it has proven super easy for my brother to put it on and remove without a problem. The only problem with type of harness is that the strap that it placed around the chest is a little too close to the armpits of the dog and might cause some discomfort to the dog while walking because of the rubbing behind the front legs.
