It seems quality when you get it. The “case” itself is nice. But it wouldnt charge consistently from day one. It charged in spurts causing the iPhone to buzz each time the charge pulses as it charges. Turned off vibration in settings to live with it only to realize that was the final gasps of the charging port dying. Now I have a fully charged battery case that doesn’t charge my phone when I plug it into the case. The plug in port or the “chip” in the plug in is dead. Cheap China electronics. The 12mos free extended warranty you sign up for? That’s a mailing list so they can spam you offers. When I go the the “needs help” website there’s no way to contact the company to actually use the extended warranty. No contact phone number. No email. No address. It’s a nice regular case with a battery attached that may or may not work. Mine doesn’t and I can’t replace it. $40.00 for a regular case. Choose something else people. Not this one.**Update**So even though I couldn’t figure out how to contact the needshelp warranty company through the website (and I’m very internet savy they just don’t make it easy) the good news is they contacted me after seeing my review and offered a refund or new case without returning the bad one. So if you buy this case sign up for the warranty whatever you do and so far I haven’t been spammed any offers to my email so maybe this is legit and they just need a website redesign for easy contacting. But I’ve had the new case about 3 days now and so far so good. It looks to be a slightly different design so maybe it’s a newer model. I don’t know. Of course it’s still early and something could still go wrong with it but so far it’s working as it should. I updated to 3 stars due to the customer service and warranty. Thank you Nikki for the prompt courteous help. I’d like to give more but it’s too early to tell just yet but I’m updating based on the customer service and the fact that this appears to be a quality sturdy made case as long as the chip continues working. I think you just have to factor in that probably 10-15% of these are going to be duds based on the other reviews I read prior to purchase. Just hope yours isn’t in that percent for the inconvenience. But Swaller appears to want to make it right if something goes wrong. Battery takes a charge and gives a charge. Only downside, the Apple lightning port headphones don’t work when you plug them into the case anymore. BUT, any other lightning plug to charge the case or play plugged into an external speaker actually work. So not sure why it’s just the Apple wired headphones. But if you have Bluetooth headphones, problem solved. So I have to raise my review at least one to a 4. I have the newer model though per last review so remember that. Maybe you’ll get it too. I’ll check back in 6 more mos for an update. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Great battery, bad on car connectivity... *by P***T on Reviewed in the United States on December 7, 2019* UPDATED REVIEW******Make no mistake this is a great battery for your phone, however it is exceptionally heavy and burdensome to hold so using a Bluetooth is best. And also one thing I am very upset about with this purchase is that when plugging in to my car radio with an auxiliary cord it tends to not want to play. Sometimes yes, sometimes no. You could possibly chalk it up to a bad cord but it’s not the case and my sons exact same phone case that I purchased does the same thing. It’s like the connection isn’t great for an Auxiliary cord or something... weird.So my updated review is, I had to return this case , as I stated before it would not allow sound when plugged into aux in my car, the cord I used was in good shape. When taking the phone out of the case the same aux cord worked great in my car, as soon as I put the phone back in the case and plugged it it...bam...no sound, weirdest thing ever. Then started trouble.2 things happened 1. I was not able to charge the phone with the case on 2. The case would be charged but the phone was not absorbing the charge.Thats when I wrote to the email mentioned in one of the cards inside the box. Nikki, one of the reps responded immediately. After I explained the problem, she gave me a few things to do, to troubleshoot. After nothing worked, she agreed to send me a completely new one for no extra charge! I didn't even have to send the old one back. I received a new and improved one within a week!
