Review: A great little banetton - This is a handy size for proving small loaves. An 8 inch/20cm loaf is ideal for a small household. Most proving baskets are much bigger than this. It seems to prevent the dough getting too wet which was a problem I had with my loaves. The bread keeps its shape better and bakes into a nicely domed loaf with faint ribbing. I dusted the liner with rice flour which I knocked out afterwards. The dough doesn't stick and there's no sign of damp or mould which I've had with other baskets.

This is a handy size for proving small loaves. An 8 inch/20cm loaf is ideal for a small household. Most proving baskets are much bigger than this.
