I've had this little gadget for a while now and can say that it works really well for me. The arch snaps easily off of a rubber base and there's plenty of room inside for common tools needed for guitar maintenance. Just snap the base onto it and it's ready to cradle the neck of your guitar. It makes restringing a breeze. I use it for any and all repairs, cleaning and polishing all of my guitars.
