I actually didn't stick this to my windshield, but instead, bought that amazon base that has the 3 beanbags on the edge and the smooth center to apply this mount (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0051FWA7U). It works great so far. Lost a star only because the constant attaching and detaching causes me to have to tighten the neck or often than I'd like, but it's not terrible bad, Also it holds pretty tight, but I wish the spring was slightly less tight so that it would be easier to attach and remove my phone with 1 hand. Can't knock it too much for that.
