## Overview

The TAAM Rio 90 combines an 85 GPH water pump with a magnet-mounted surface skimmer and CO2 reactor, designed for aquariums up to 24 inches long. Its easy installation and dual functionality deliver superior water quality and aquatic health.

## Description

The Rio 90 power surface skimmer and CO2+ reactor comes out of the box ready to use as a power surface skimmer, Most aquariums have film build up that is created by dust, algae, fish foods and fats from fish frozen food. This build up reduces gas exchange and good water quality. The dual surface skimmers will prevent clogging form large floating debris and the foam filtering pad will aid in the removal of small debris. In addition the unit can be set up as a CO2 reactor by connecting a carbon dioxides source (not included), now the unit is a reactor that will mix the carbon dioxide with water in the reaction chamber produces an ultra fine bubble for maximum saturation and then dispersed in the aquarium. Magent mount included

Review: Works great but too buzzy - Works great, in a small package but too loud and buzzy. It moves too easily with the magnet, and has too short a cordif you have a larger tank. CO2 comes out in small bubbles. Returned unit due to noise.
Review: Handy little surface skimmer. - Only been using this for about a week, so I'll have to update if my conclusions change. So far, it works fine. I have not had a problem with noise as was mentioned in another review. I am not using it with carbon dioxide , though. It does need frequent cleaning due to its size. Addendum- power head gave up the ghost today. I am unable to get inside to try and repair. Liked it a lot so will probably get another one. Addendum- Was able to restart the power head by cleaning the impeller and well. Still working fine!
