Nano-Tech Bio-Media is manufactured with thousands of micro spheres that are completely inert. Recommended by the sewage treatment industry, Nano-Tech Bio-Media uses technology properties to form with these micro spheres, shapes like blocks, balls, plugs for coral seedlings all intended for use in aquariums. on a huge cross surface, the rate and filtration area of each bio sphere corresponds to 54 square feet or 580 square feet and each Bio-Block corresponds to 1080 square feet of surface area or 11635 square feet for fixing bacteria colonies, which allow you to effectively control and stabilize the water column. Bio-Spheres are excellent in fixing bacterial colonies, which can condition the formation of bacterial biofilms, so much as it provides conditions for the development of various types of bacterial strains and fungi due to their large area of attachment such as nitrificing animals (Nitrossomone species, Nitroscoccus, Nitrococcus), yeast prokaryots phototrococcus picas, etc. Bio-Spheres are carefully made to ensure quality and for its structure to provide optimal conditions for the development of bacterial colonies, but it will not be decomposed through the bacteria that grow within the Bio-Spheres/Bio-Blocks structure. **Q: Can you use these in a tropical tank ?**
A: Yes i have 2 kg of these in mine, they seem to work well.

**Q: Will these be ok in a canister filter?**
A: Yes they will 
I use some of mine in a fluval 206 canister 
You might need to remove the ceramic media that you already have to fit these in

**Q: Does this come with a bag.cheers**
A: Yes, comes with a mesh bag.

**Q: I have a 450L marine aquarium with sump. How many 1k boxes would i need?**
A: I would go for 3 boxes it says on the box 10 balls are the equivalent to 10kg of liverock

I keep very messy predators so nitrites, nitrates and ammonia were always a fluctuating matter. After buying the balls the fluctuation has calmed down massively. They are a great product and can’t knock them very much worth the money!
