Since sucralose comes from a plant, it is technically vegan. **Q: Does Splenda have an aftertaste to it?** A: Not for me. I much prefer it to other artificial sweeteners like saccharin (Sweet 'N Low) that have a noticeable aftertaste. Also, I think Splenda has a more natural sweet flavor than Stevia or aspartame (Equal).
