General’s “The Masters” Brush Cleaner and Preserver is made with the real Formula. It cleans, conditions, and restores paint brushes in one step. Artists have relied upon The Masters Brush Cleaner since 1979 to take special care of their brushes. It removes oils, acrylics, watercolours, stains, and varnishes. For use on sable, natural bristle and synthetic brushes. It gives off no harmful fumes or odours, and it's safe for use in the classroom or studio. 1 big tub of 1 oz (28.30 g) Instructions to Use “The Masters” Brush Cleaner Rinse Brush in warm water Swirl brush in “The Masters” compound and work into a lather. Rinse with clean water. Repeat if necessary until brush is clean (lather will be white). Rinse thoroughly for Hard Oil Paint Brushes Repeat above process as often as necessary Let brush set with cleaner (compound) on the bristles for a short period Resume process until brush is clean Leave clear lather on brush to shape and condition bristles.

Review: Cleans brushes beautifully - My brushes were stained with permanent ink and I usually kept my watercolour and acrylic brushes apart to prevent the bristles from getting dry and brittle, but at some point, they got mixed up. This soap cleaned it right up. I followed YouTube instructions and just wet the brushes and swirled them in the soap box itself. I left it open for it to dry and forgot about it, and the soap did shrink a bit due to the dryness of the weather. Otherwise, does what it's supposed to and keeps brushes clean.

My brushes were stained with permanent ink and I usually kept my watercolour and acrylic brushes apart to prevent the bristles from getting dry and brittle, but at some point, they got mixed up. This soap cleaned it right up. I followed YouTube instructions and just wet the brushes and swirled them in the soap box itself. I left it open for it to dry and forgot about it, and the soap did shrink a bit due to the dryness of the weather. Otherwise, does what it's supposed to and keeps brushes clean.
