ZHMFBOD is full-sized ferrocerium rod, manufactured to start fires quickly even when wet. Just scrape our fire starter with the back of your knife, focusing the 5,500oF degree sparks towards your bird’s nest, tinder, or magnesium dust, and generate roaring fires quickly. Designed to spark more than 2,0000times!  The magnesium fire is perfect for crafting fires or emergency signals for: Butane/propane stove ignition.Backpacking ,Hiking ,Camping,Hunting,Fishing,Barbeques. Plus, it makes a handy survival tool for to keep around for everyday emergency preparedness. Instructions: 1.Gather some kindling (such as dry grass, pine needles, small twigs) and some tinder (such as small branches, pine cones, bark). 2.Use serrated edge of striker to shave some magnesium from the rod onto your pile of tinder. Keep shavings closely piled together for best results. 3.Use smooth edge of striker to forcefully strike rod several times in order to release a stream of sparks aimed at the magnesium pile until it ignites. 4.Gently blow on the flame and start feeding it with kindling and larger branches until you have a full-fledged fire.
