Here's the scoop. I have dyed red auburn hair and I've been obsessed with this new hair chalking/ombrΓ© hair fad that's been boomin' for the past couple of seasons. I ordered a bunch of different colors of Colorsmash to try me out. They say they're the best, so I took their word. I received my shadows today, this lavender included. I tried out the jade and the darker purple first. Thought they were pretty cool. Set with hair spray as instructed and immediately the color dulled. I tried another color...same thing happened. I didn't even comb the hair after setting with spray in the hopes the color would stay vibrant. It didn't. Not even 20 mins later, the areas I used the shadow on we're ashy, dreadlock-y, and hardly visible in even bright fleuorescent light. About an hour later I decided to try out this lavender on a streak. It came out beutifully on my hair, I sprayed and again it had dulled the color. THEN, when I went to reclose the product, I noticed the SILVER of the bottom of the shadow pan popping through!!!!!! I literally used it ONCE and pulled it through the streak of hair TWICE and the bottom of the pan was already showing. This is UNACCEPTABLE for a product that costs this much for such a temp look, if you want to count those 20 mins or so that color is even visible. Maybe you have to be blonde to use these, which is lame since the point is NOT having to dye your hair, right? Otherwise I'd fry my hair and dye it with Special FX...the only hardcore way to go apparently. Won't repurchase.
