You get 2 books--one for each of you in the relationship. The "game" is not a sit down and play until finished game. This is really a long-term relationship interaction process. Although I have not had these books for long, we have begun to formulate the individual behaviors, actions and rewards that will serve as the basis for the point system over the many coming months of the "game". Communication is a big part of setting up the process which then continues and each participant gets agreed upon points and rewards for positive behaviors and actions and lose points for negative behaviors and actions. The "game" then takes place over 4 weeks and you set point totals for agreed upon rewards.It really is just a way to gamify your relationship. Good = inter-couple communication to set up behaviors, points and actions. Hard = it will take discipline to follow through over a period of weeks. Biggest benefit I see in the future is that these activities, when pursued and rewarded over a 4 week period should really help develop long-term habits that will definitely strengthen our marriage relationship.Cheaper than a therapist and probably similar to what a therapist might recommend to strengthen relationships. Even better, it has a 30 day money-back guaranty. Originally, I thought the booklet only contained questions, but there is much more. to do. While driving, we discussed the questions and wrote our answers in the booklet. Some questions are simple to answer and about some you must think twice. The next day we started to play the game. The part of the game is very motivating and competitive. All your positive and negative activities must be written down to tables everyday. Writing you activities down are motivated by the points twhat you get with these positive actions. You will receive prizes from the partner for these points, so we started to compete with each other which one does better and gets more points. This game was perfect for us.
