I used 3M Command Strips, for outside use, to hang on my metal scalloped edged awning of our home. We have had cold, bitter cold and windy snow days up here in Western NY state, which is not unusual, but these command strips and lights stayed affixed in place and didn't fall off. I am Very pleased with this purchase. I purchased two sets, and they plug in to each string of lights just perfectly! It is a unique decoration that none other I have seen in our small town, yet. If you want a unique and very pretty motion light decoration for Christmas, Hanukkah, or even Kwanzaa, this is a great idea and quality purchase. I always love colorful light displays.
