## Description

Ayfee Screen Protector Tempered Glass,[Anti-Fingerprint][No-Bubble][Scratch-Resistant] Glass Screen Protector: desertcart.co.uk: Home & Kitchen

Review: Easy to use and efficient - sorted out the condensation in our loft after we re-plastered our house - We recently moved into a new (well, new to us) house and had to do a whole load of work on it, basically stripping the walls back to brick. As a result of the renovations and all the wet plaster and other moisture introduced into the house we found our loft was a condensation nightmare - everything up there was COVERED in beads of condensation, and the items we had tried to store up there were sodden. This meant that books we had kept up there (in large sealed black plastic trunks) were pretty much ruined, and other items like CDs etc were all very damp. We tried towelling the surfaces off, which removed the moisture temporarily but it was back with a vengeance within a few hours so it was clear we needed a better solution. I managed to borrow one of these Ernovo dehumidifiers for a couple of weeks from a friend and the difference was amazing - we left it running 24/7 and were emptying the tray every day which gives you some idea of the amount of moisture it was removing. When it came to giving it back and getting one of our own we wanted to stick with the same brand that we knew worked really well. The dehumidifier is fairly heavy, so bear that in mind if you intend to move it around a lot, but there is a carrying handle. Operation is dead simple - there are 4 buttons for speed, timer, setting and power on/off but you don't really need to mess with any and it can be as simple as just turning it on and leaving it to do it's thing. There is a humidity sensor reading on the control panel that gives you a humidity percentage for the room (just give it a couple of minutes to settle on a reading once plugged in) - it's satisfying being able to watch this fall with use! It will shut off once you reach your desired level (or once the tank is full so no danger of spills) There's a 1.8 litre tray at the back of the unit, or you can use a supplied hose for continuous use (we have ours set up draining into a larger bowl so we don't have to go into the loft and empty it every day). One nice touch is there's a filter built in to the unit which you can just wash under the tap. In terms of noise, well ours is in the loft so not an issue for us but it's fairly quite (similar to a fan) and you can adjust just how noisy it is with the settings - there's medium or high, and medium would be the one to go for if it's in a room with you. Build quality is great and it seems a nice sturdy bit of kit - we've had it running constantly since arrival and will continue to do so until we are happy that the issue is gone (which might involve sorting out decent air bricks etc long term). In conclusion this has been great in sorting our issues out - it's compact yet really efficient and had really saved our loft and turned it back into a usable space again, so I would happily recommend it.
Review: Quiet and Effective, a well-made product - I bought this to replace a 13-year-old dehumidifier that was starting to not work properly. I run my dehumidifier in the room we dry our laundry so as to prevent damp and mould, but also to dry clothes faster during the winter when we can't dry our clothes outside. I'd also previously tried some new thermoelectric/solid state/Peltier effect dehumidifiers that were rubbish - they collected little to no water even running for weeks, these dehumidifiers with compressors may be larger, more expensive and are louder, but they work very well, removing litres per day when it's humid. The first thing I noticed was how quiet this dehumidifier was compared to our last. The fan doesn't rattle or 'growl' and the compressor is far quieter. It has a 'high' and 'low' fan mode, and I personally use it on the low mode, but even on the 'high' mode it's still quieter than the old one. This dehumidifier also consumes a lot less power, 173-260W is respectable for a dehumidifier that uses a compressor. Additionally, it has a built in humidistat, so you can set the dehumidifier to only turn on when room humidity exceeds an amount you can set in 5% increments. I set mine to 50% room humidity. This means that it's running for less time, further saving electricity and money. Additionally, it works with a timed plug socket, so I set mine to run during the day when I'm out and late at night when I'm asleep. The dehumidifier can be set to fill the included 1.8L tank (and stop automatically when this is full), or ran to a drain with the included hose for permanent drainage. I don't have a drain in the room I dry my laundry in, so have to use the tank. Unfortunately, the tank is much smaller than in my last dehumidifier so has to be emptied more regularly, but this is also reflected in the size of this dehumidifier, it's much smaller. Note that when using the hose it must drain with gravity, so your dehumidifier needs to be higher than the drain. As with any dehumidifier with a compressor, it's heavy. I've got no idea why it's advertised as 'Portable' in the title. If you move anything containing a compressor, you must leave it to sit for a few hours before use to avoid damaging the compressor - this alone makes it non-portable. Don't be mistaken that it's portable. The manual refers to an 'anion' feature, however, this isn't present. That being said I don't mind because as far as I can tell, the anion feature of some dehumidifier just statically charges dust particles so they stick to walls, which doesn't really clean the air anyway. Overall I'm very happy with this dehumidifier, it does everything I wanted it to do, is energy efficient, only runs when required and is quiet. There are a few little complaints like the smaller tank, but these haven't bugged me too much.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Small compact dehumidifier that works effectively.
*by D***1 on 6 April 2019*

I would have rated this product 5 stars however the instructions are in `Engrish` (no offence meant) and quite difficult to understand. It took a while fiddling to understand how to put the unit into auto-cutoff mode. Also the unit has an annoying scratch on the front. While this doesn't overly bother me it is quite annoying on a new product. I also didn't rate Energy Efficiency as I have no idea how I would determine this until I've run it for several months. Ease of use was also rated down. The unit itself is a doddle to operate and maintain if only the instructions made sense. In low fan mode the unit is quite quiet but I wouldn't want it in a bedroom although you can turn it off at night using the 24 hour timer function. Just remember if the digital display is not flashing the unit is in continuous mode. Does the job.
