This is where I live. It's cold as ice for about 6 months out of the year. If we had no heat we would DIE! This is where the Comfy comes in... Christmas rolls around and my Mother gave my Sister and I a gift and asked us to open them at the same time. We look at each other and give a big eye-roll because clearly we got some matching bullshit. No. No, it wasn't some matching bullshit. It was a COMFY!!! I was thinking, "where in the hell am I going to wear this?" When it hit me! I work at home on the computer all day in the coldest room in my 300 year old house! This is all I need! Not kidding! It's now my work uniform. It's huge and cozy and I even sweat sometimes and have to crack the 300 year old window with no storm on it next to me! I get up in the morning and throw on some Polar Tec socks, then slide on my Comfy! I am NEVER cold! I can lower my oil bill because I can put it on 63* and feel completely comfy!!! Thanks Comfy Guys! Yes, it is easy to imagine a Saturday Night Live parody of this product, but I don't care! It is not pretty or sexy, but you will be toasty warm and very comfortable. And really, what else matters? I like that you can move around your house easily in the Comfy and not worry about tripping yourself or getting tangled up in a too-long outfit. It is very roomy. You can pull the bottom over your knees and lower legs when you sit down. In fact, there is probably enough room for another full-grown person to get in it with you. I think the product is very well made, especially for the price. I have washed mine several times and it always washes and dries nicely. I have not used any special settings and I wash it with like-colored clothes with no problem. I purchased the red Comfy. My only complaint is that the red has some pink tone to it. I was hoping for a tomato red.. This little quibble is not enough to take away from my love of the Comfy.
