After trying a few knee pillows my favorite is none of them. The problem is they are all either too thick or two thin. This one by itself is too thin for me. It worked fine as a supplement to a thicker knee pillow but it's a bit annoying to have to keep two knee pillows in place at the same time. I've found a normal somewhat thin down pillow gives you more flexibility to add or take away thickness when desired. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Back buddy knee pillow for hip bursitis *by U***D on Reviewed in the United States on January 4, 2013* I have bursitis in my left hip that is so bad, some days it feels like a hot coal. I had a cortisone shot and expected relief (it worked on the right side), but was disappointed. Saw this back buddy knee pillow and thought, why not? At first, I was afraid it wouldn't provide enough support, but it actually does. I use it with the included pillow case. It does make me overly warm at times, but that's of little note. Well, not only does it stay on her side, but it stays between her knees. The first night she said it really worked and she loved it although she thought I was nuts when I bought it.
