**Q: is it sturdy enough to sit or step on it?**
A: I would use this as a seat, gently and only occasionally, as though it appears sturdy enough to hold up to a 150 pound adult, it is not indestructible. It is NOT meant to stand on!!!! NOT A STEP STOOL!  But a terrific occasional seat/ottoman.

**Q: What do I do if I didn't get a lid?**
A: Contact company. You need the lid

**Q: Would this work for holding balls of yarn?**
A: I believe it would be good to hold a few balls of yarn. It's pretty sturdy.

A: About 10 inches
