**Q: Is refresh classic similar to optive tears**
A: refresh classic is the most neutral and user friendly version my wife can find. have not tried optive tears. other drops with preservatives seem to irritate eyes.

**Q: How many (approximate) drops per vile, and how is an open vile stored?**
A: I get 6-8 drops per vial.  The vial can be recapped, but you should only keep it for a day.  It is mean to be disposed of after a day, because there are no preservatives in the drops.  My eye doctor said I don't need to refrigerate the open vial, but to never keep it longer than 24 hours after it is opened.

**Q: Hello, can you tell me what the expiration date of this product is please?**
A: Mine was purchased too long ago to be meaningful for you.  I just purchased some recently from a local drugstore and the expiration date is June 2016. I think Pharmapacks was the online dealer that sold them.  Maybe you could contact them directly to ask your question.

**Q: Is the liquid somewhat thick?**
A: It is thicker than pure saline, but I would not call it thick.  It seems to stay in my eyes longer than most eyedrops, if that is what you are wondering about.
