It is light orange and it is opaque which may not work for some people but I have a very yellow skin tone and have to avoid any colors with a bluish base. This lipstick allows me to do a nude lip look which every single light lipstick I tried up to this point did not...they all made me look like I was ill.I can also use this to build a nice warm lip color by combinig it with gloss. This is the only lipstick I have found with an orange tone that is not either too bright or too dark. Since I have yet to find a lip longer that matches this shade, I recommend using a Nars clear lip liner to prevent feathering and carefully apply with a brush...
