We have multiple colors of this tutu! My daughter wore one for her 8 month pictures (the black tutu) where she weighed about 14.5 lbs and one for another photo shoot when she was 10.5 months (the pink tutu) and about 16 lbs. The elastic bands stretch and will fit her for a long time. I washed the tutus in cold on the delicate cycle and let them air dry.Edit to add that we used the light pink tutu for my daughter’s 1 year old cake smash photo shoot and it washed up great in cold water. My daughter wore the fushcia pink tutu on her 1st birthday at Disneyland and the birthday mouse ears matched perfectly! She was about 17 pounds in these two photos.

I bought this for my 22 pound cocker spaniel to celebrate her 5th Rescue anniversary. It is so cute, had plenty of poofiness, and stayed on even when she was running around the house. It is precious and well worth the money.

I purchased these tutus for my twins' first birthday photos and needed to match a variety of other items. It seems that many of the inexpensive options come in the same set colors, so I was glad I found this listing with more color options. I ordered 4 so I could see the colors in person and thought sharing the photos might help someone else. Top row L-R: blue, rose pink. Bottom row L-R: light blue, pink. One photo was taken inside next to a window on a sunny day, and the other was taken inside when it was dark out under incandescent light bulbs.As other reviews have mentioned, these tutus have a slight "fishy" smell. One of them seemed to have an artificial vanilla scent sprayed on it, I assume to mask the odor. Both smells dissipate after airing out for a bit. I also noticed that the different tutus were assembled differently, but they all have 5 layers of tulle and look the same when worn.As far as fit, my girls are in 6m and 9m clothes, and the smaller size tutus fit perfectly. They have some stretch, so I think they will fit for a while longer. Compared to tutus sold as clothing by major retailers in the US, these ones are definitely more like photo props. I don't think they'll hold up well to washing (I plan to hand wash), they're stiff, and they're definitely not soft. They're not terrible, but I certainly wouldn't consider them clothing that a baby could wear for the day.

Bought this for my 2 year old daughter for her Halloween costume. I was concerned it may not fit, but it is perfect both in the waist and in length. She loves it too, it has just enough “poofiness” with the 5 layers. I would absolutely purchase again!

This tutu fit my daughter perfectly. She's 15 months old but not big or chunky (20lbs). I had ordered another tutu in her age range and it was too big and too long, but this one for perfectly!

Upon arrival, the skirt has some loose strings and part of the satin band was becoming unraveled. It was fine after I snipped the loose threads. Fit was great for my almost 2 year old. The skirt was fuller than I expected at this low price.

I was worried this TUTU was going to be too small for my daughter who was wearing it for her 3rd birthday party. She currently weights around 29 lbs so I choose to go with the small tutu and it worked out great!

This exceeded my expectations. I bought it for my daughter's first birthday party and assumed it would last just long enough for me to take a few pictures. But she loved it and looked adorable. The length and fit are perfect. The elastic kept it snug around her waist but there's still tons of room to grow -- I think she'll be able to wear it for another couple years. And it's short enough to stay out of her way whether she's crawling or walking, which is great because she's in that area right between the two. She loved the color and how fluffy it was. By the end of the day, the ends were starting to fray a bit, but that's to be expected from unhemmed tulle being worn by a toddler for five hours.
