The new Christmas edition of the NeoGeo Mini looks similar to the standard version, but it has a red and gold color scheme and a new batch of 48 games. Review: This is the Version You Want! - They got this one right! Not only does it come with all the cables and controlers you need; it has the best selection of games. That's 48 games and if you are a Metal Slug fan this emulation is good enough for most "old school" gamers. Had a great time doing Co- Op with my adult Sons on the best beatup's in my opinion from Neo-Geo. The emulation holds up good on our 80" plus Flat Screen in 1080P. Frame rate was fine for my older eyes and my Sons seemed to agree. Is this going to look like Red Dead 2.. No! These are older games, however I personally like the look. Get this version before it's gone as its the best SNK has put out so far in the mini format. The controlers could be better though! While they look great matching the system and the buttons are clicky.....the directional control is soft and the thumb fatigue sets in fast. Your thumb slips easy and this adds to the fatigue causing more pain. I'll be looking for a solution to this issue as the mini console will be played often! Review: What this product shuold have been with the first run. All parts included in one package. - The original international and Japanese versions should have also been put out with all the cables and controllers to make it work. This is a neat collectable gift though. And if you have a older 720p TV on most you can avoid the weird SMOOTHED look these seem to have on larger HD tvs. This one also has a different mish mash of games and 8 new games no on the other two versions they have put out. Also this has some games that were only on the Japanese version but they are the English versions. ## Features - GAMING CONSOLE ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07KL14TV3 | | Best Sellers Rank | #1,024,718 in Toys & Games ( See Top 100 in Toys & Games ) #2,526 in Plug & Play Video Games | | Brand Name | SNK | | Color | Red & White | | Controller Type | Push Button | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 282 Reviews | | Display Type | LCD | | Edition | Christmas | | Form Factor | Mini | | Global Trade Identification Number | 04964808400324 | | Hardware Interface | HDMI, USB | | Included Components | 1 product | | Indoor Outdoor Usage | Indoor | | Item Dimensions | 7.09 x 6.69 x 7.87 inches | | Item Weight | 600 g | | Manufacturer | JUST FOR GAMES | | Manufacturer Maximum Age (MONTHS) | 60 | | Manufacturer Part Number | 400324 | | Material Type | Plastic or Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) | | Model Number | 400324 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Number of Players | Multiplayer | | Operation Mode | Automatic | | Platform | No Operating System | | Power Source | Corded Electric | | Set Name | 48 | | Size | 170 mm x 180 mm x 200 mm | | Theme | Fantasy | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Images ![Console JUST for Games NEO GEO MINI EDT Christmas - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61TaZzdTWCL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Which are the new 9 games?** A: Ninja Combat The Super Spy League Bowling Soccer Brawl Fatal Fury Fatal Fury 2 Fatal Fury 3 Real Bout Fatal Fury Special Savage Reign **Q: Are the games in English?** A: For the most part, yes. I think there may be one or two that never made it to the West but from what I've seen, all are in enough rudimentary English to be playable. **Q: In the description informs that it has no operating system ?? What does it mean?** A: I guess it means that , there is no window or MAC operating system like a computer. You can not add or move files around. It’s just a turn on and choose your Neo Geo game to play. That’s really can think of to answer your question. **Q: did the pre-orders already happen?** A: Old question already answered by date that , yes it happened past. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This is the Version You Want! *by D***N on December 27, 2018* They got this one right! Its absolutely BURSTING with fan service in such a welcome typically classic SNK way. Bottom line is its the RED unit, with like 6-8 DECALS to swap, XMAS decorated, the beautiful little mat for the unit to sit on if u have a permanent little place for it, the HDMI cable, TWO red controllers, and power cable. IF u have to find ONE thing wrong with ANY of the Minis, its that theyre not chargeable/dont take batteries. BUT, thats reaching. THIS IS A GORGEOUS COLLECTIBLE THAT WILL ONLY EVER GO UP IN VALUE, but its beautiful none the less. Buy it today.
