Good product, cheap price

Lighter and less compacted than previous purchases
I have bought this product for the last 18 months, it has always suited mine and my ferrets needs perfectly. However on my latest order the product did not seem of the same quality as my previous purchases. The bag itself is considerably lighter and less compacted than previous purchases. I would estimate this bag is 1/3 smaller than usual. This bag was also £34 instead of the usual £32. I will now be looking for an alternative bedding for my ferret if this issue is not addressed.

Animal bedding
10kg bag of bedding. I have bought this item b4 and found it works well with wood and paper shavings underneath. ( That's just my preference).The paper shredded bedding is soft and much fluffier when crunched and separated more leading to a good Nites sleep or chillout area for small animals.

Pretty good stuff
OK so many other reviewers mentioned that this stuff arrives in "clumps", which is true, but doesn't quite describe what you're in for. Effectively this stuff is 20-ply tissue paper cut into long strips, so while you might be able to separate clumps of paper fairly easily with your hands, this is quite fiddly to expand out to its full fluffiness.That said, I've found that a fork (or comb or hairbrush) is plenty good enough to split it up enough, so a couple of strips is enough to replace a day's worth of rat bedding.I'm torn between giving 4 or 5 stars, since this is a bit annoying to have to deal with but I'm not exactly sure what they could do instead. If it was shipped pre-fluffed then 10kg would fill an entire room.

Good bedding for guinea pigs and other small animals
My guinea pigs love this. It has to be fluffed up by hand to make it nice and soft as it is densely packed; there is plenty in the package!

Awful
This has to be the worst pet bedding I have ever ordered, it is not absorbent at all so I have to clean my pet out much more than normal, I do not recommend this as pet bedding. Not happy
