Left it for 3 months to harden before fitting the tank to the bike. Filled tank with fuel, a small amount spilt on the "fuel resistant lacquer". Result - the petrol immediately stripped the lacquer and paint off the tank where the petrol had dribbled. About as much use as a poke in the eye with a blunt stick. This product should not be advertised as fuel resistant. It is no more fuel proof than ordinary lacquer.
