Who doesn't know Rossana? It is more than just a candy, it was an unforgettable childhood companion for everyone. Rossana candies were everywhere, in my grandmothers' pockets, my aunts' sweet jars, they even came home with dad after work. So beautiful and elegant to look at, in the unmistakable red dress, however, they hide a secret, a Creamy Heart of milk which blends the tenderness of almonds with the flavor of hazelnuts, a timeless delight! Rossana Perugina or simply the "Rossa" (red) was founded in 1926 in Perugia, in homage to Roxanne, the woman loved by Cyrano de Bergerac. Over the years the "Rossa", with its feminine and inimitable character, has become a true taste of Italy and is still loved today by millions of Italians of all ages.

Review: Delicious! - These candies were one of my favorites growing up in Italy! The first time I saw them online was almost half a year ago and they were priced at a little over $20.00/lb. I was lucky enough to buy them at about $10.00/lb here on desertcart. I noticed the price has been increasing- even so, I still think they're worth the extra cash. The candy itself is hard on the outside with a soft, creamy center. Rossa candies have a very unique flavor. I agree with previous comments that mentioned a "hazlenut" and "dulce de leche" taste. I would also like to add that it has a hint of almond too. I'm glad to say that all the candy pieces in my order were intact. My order was shipped by desertcart (through desertcart Prime). The package of candy was shipped in a properly-sized box with the extra air cushions to avoid them moving around in transit. Between me and my boyfriend, this bag lasted about a month. It really depends on how much one wants to eat in a day. Sometimes I eat one and sometimes I grab a handful. In the future, I would buy this one pound bag again from desertcart.

A: It’s a very silky, creamy addictive hazelnut flavored filling.  Very, very delicious!

**Q: Looking for Lemoncello hard candy**
A: We don't carry that product as it conflicts with the Perle di Sole line that we also import.

**Q: How many candies bring the 1lb pack ?**
A: The 2.2 lb bags advertise they contain approximately 200 pieces, so I would guess the 1 lb bag to have a bit less than 100 pieces.
