Works just like the more expensive full sized foundation brush I used at home. Easy to use, makeup looks great without too much fuss. It’s a little difficult to clean with the bristles being buried in the case, it’s difficult to rinse fully and takes a long time to dry, but this is true for any dense retractable brush. Love that it stays clean in my makeup bag, and the retractable collar comes up and keeps the bristles in place before putting the cap on, so it stays in good shape. Are used it the very first day when I didn’t even plan on wearing make up. Are used it for a liquid foundation, and it worked really well. It was really soft and blended very well into my skin. After about two weeks of use it broke away from the base, which I did not think was a big deal I thought I could just glue it back into the bottom and everything would be OK. But now it won’t slide up and down to cover the actual tip where are you apply the foundation and so it is hard to Cover the brush part anymore. That’s a problem for me because I struggle with acne and need to know that I have a clean brush all the time. It is also quite hard to clean the brush and holds brush cleaner soap even after rinsing it 50 times. I also see foundation at the very bottom of the bristles whenever I pull apart the bristles after washing.
