But for the price it is to be expected. A deeper pile would be a higher price. All in all this is beautiful and drapes lovely. I bought one yard which came folded in a small package and to my surprise it's not wrinkled at all. Looks like a high end velvet. I got it for a craft but I wouldn't hesitate to use it for clothing. Really. Update: I ordered the dark green It's as nice as the royal blue. However it arrived with a lot of wrinkles. Will try steaming them out.
