## Overview

The Natal Pure Stave M-SD-C-AS45-NW Snare Drum features a 5.5" x 14" ash shell, delivering a unique dry cutting tone and a vintage voice, complemented by a tri-throw throw off for enhanced playability.

## Description

Pure-Stave snares are available in a choice of three woods: Ash, Maple and Walnut, and are finished with 100% natural bees wax. This means that no chemicals have been used in the finishing process. The wax is applied by hand to the shells without the use of solvents. It is then brush polished to increase the temperature allowing it to take to even the smallest pores in the wood. Lacquer finishes contribute to the resonant signature of a drum. Unlike lacquer finishes bees wax is porous which allows the wood to breathe which enhances shell resonance giving a more natural, unaffected tone. Pure-Stave snare drums are fitted with hand polished double ‘Sun’ lugs, Tru-Tune tension rods and Tri-Throw snare mechanism. They also feature 2.3mm triple flange chrome hoops and a die-cast Natal logo badge.
