Not only are they really light but they came with all the new cables. It was easy to fit to my new handlebars and has made my gear shifting so easy. I upgraded my cassette to an 11 speed and I needed 11 speed shifters. My previous shifters were 7 speed and I couldn't utilise the extra 4 gears so I replaced my derailer for a Shimano 105 and the 105 Shifters.
